Welcome to "Allen Street", a bright and seaside inspired oasis in State College. Allen Street is known to be the center of hustle and bustle in State College. The corner of Allen St. and College Ave. is one of the oldest and most historically important locations in all of State College. It served as the original main entrance to Penn State’s campus dating back to the 1800s. Today it still is the main gate and a key meeting point for friends and visitors alike. We want our Home to be the place that brings your friends, families or colleagues together for whatever reason you need. Step outside to a rear deck that lets you enjoy outdoor mountain views and common grass areas. Outdoor seating and space to fire up the grill (Spring 2025), enjoy fresh air, or simply relax after a busy day exploring State College. The private driveway can park 3 cars. Overflow parking is permitted near the mailboxes.

The Allen Street Home Experience

The Allen Street Home reflects the vibrant character of Allen Street itself, known for its hidden gems: amazing bars and restaurants tucked below street level. Inspired by places like Zeno’s and others from years past, this house was designed to offer something special.

As you descend the stairs, you’re greeted by Penn State memorabilia, setting the tone for a welcoming space. Turn the corner and discover comfort redefined: a leather sleeper sofa, recliner, and loveseat, all arranged for watching the game or enjoying a movie on a 75" Samsung TV with surround sound.

Game & Recreation Room

Surrounded by Penn State memorabilia, the room invites friendly competition. Challenge your friends to shuffleboard, Foosball and more. There may even be surprise guest gifts waiting for your arrival. A working desk is also available for those who need to catch up on tasks.

Basement Amenities

In addition to the game room, the basement features a fully functional bathroom with a shower, providing convenience for guests. There is also now a separate workspace with Wi-Fi printer for guest use so if you're working, you have a new keyboard, mouse and printer.

Outdoor Space

Step outside to a rear deck with mountain views and access to common grassy areas. Outdoor seating and relaxation space will be available in Spring 2026, along with a Blackstone grill for cookouts. Enjoy fresh air or unwind after a busy day exploring State College. The private driveway accommodates up to four cars, with overflow parking permitted near the mailboxes.
