We Are Who We Are — Penn State Proud

Founded by a Penn State Family, for the Penn State Family

I graduated in 1998 with a Mechanical Engineering degree as a first‑generation Penn State alum — not realizing I was starting a family tradition. Since then, siblings, children, friends, neighbors, and even classmates’ kids and nieces have all been ready to proudly shout, “We Are!”

Why Blue & White Lodging Started

In 2025, an opportunity came along that brought together friends, family, tailgates, and long‑term growth. That moment led to the creation of Blue & White Lodging LLC and We Are Penn State Properties LLC.

It began with a phone call in June 2025. By July, we signed what would become the Atherton Street home. The idea was simple: create a place where I’d be proud to send my own family.

By October, I knew one home wasn’t enough. I invested again — supporting Penn State, the State College community, and the alumni network that welcomed me back in 1993 at Altoona. (Go Ivy Leaves — and Berks summers, too.)

What Makes Us Different

I’m not a hospitality major. I’m a Penn State alum, engineer, and traveler with common sense. I design every home we manage asking: “Would I send my own family here?”

That means:

Short drive to Penn State campus & downtown State College for game days, graduations, and move-in weekends
Fully equipped homes with real kitchens, fast Wi-Fi, free parking, and laundry
Clean, comfortable, no-surprises spaces designed for families, alumni, and groups
Responsive support — I welcome questions and I’m here to help make your visit easy

Our Mission

Support Penn State. Support the State College community. Give fans, parents, and alumni a home‑like place to stay when they’re in town.
